The Transformation
Where Pamela started
By the time Pamela came to me, she had tried everything she could think of, and each thing had made the acne angrier. It was not just her skin she was fed up with; it was the way it made her feel about herself. She was wearing heavy make-up to cover it, which was making the picture worse again.
What we did and why
Acne needs to be treated from both directions. Internally, Pamela went on Accumax and Skin Clear Biome. Topically, we moved her onto the Environ Sebu range, which cleanses and manages oil without stripping the skin. In clinic, she had a course of 12 Blemish Control TCA Cool Peels, spaced so the skin had time to settle between each one. Twelve is a long course, and that is the point. Acne does not clear because you were aggressive; it clears because you were consistent.
